Website

When the website is visited, the browser of the visitor submits the IP address of the visitor to the web server. The IP address is primarily used to send the requested website to the visitor and secondarily used to protect the web server against digital attacks and to evaluate the website for optimization. The website doesn't load any files from external web servers. The IP address is not shared with third parties.

When the subscribe form is loaded, a cookie is set that identifies the browsing session, which is necessary to enable the captcha verification. This cookie expires after the browsing session. The website doesn't use any other cookies.

Mailing list

When the subscribe form is sent, the submitted name and email address are used for the subscription process. When this process process is completed within 48 hours, the name and email address are then used for the mailing list. The name and the full email address are not shared with third parties. The domain part of the email address may be shared with third parties for the purpose of resolving specific issues with the mailing list regarding this domain.

When the subscription process is not completed within 48 hours, the name and email address are permanently deleted the next day. System backups with the name and email address are retained for one more month.

When cancellation of the subscription is requested, the subscriber's name and email address are used for the cancellation process. When this process is completed within 48 hours, the subscriber's name and email address are permanently deleted from the mailing list. System backups with the subscriber's name and email address are retained for one more month. Any emails from a subscriber or emails sent on a subscriber's behalf (e.g. bounce messages) are not automatically deleted when a subscription is cancelled.

When the cancellation process is not completed within 48 hours, the name and email address are removed from the cancellation process the next day. System backups of the cancellation process are retained for one more month.
